Hi Barbie! Students in this class will perform scenes from the hit movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling and explore what it means to be human. We will dance the night away, sing our favorite songs from the movie, and enjoy everything PINK!!

Dive into your favorite storybooks and meet your favorite furry friends in this imaginative-play class! Students will make crafts inspired by the day’s book and act out the story as a group. Explore how to use your mind, body, and imagination to embody your favorite animals on and off the page. This class uses beloved childhood stories to stimulate imagination and inspire creative play.

This workshop will defy gravity and take you over the rainbow! Rehearse favorite scenes and songs from this Tony-award winning musical. The week will end with a final workshop presentation. 

Step into the shoes of your favorite superheroes and villains! Through imagination, acting, and character building, create your own epic adventures, facing challenges, battling foes, and working together to save the day.

Students will receive 4 individualized sessions with a professional vocal/acting coach. Sessions will be tailored to fit the students wants/needs along with suggestions and support from their coach. Learn, grow, and excel with a class that gives individualized attention to you or your student!

Time: Four 60-minute sessions between Oct 20-Nov 15. Scheduling will be determined by student and coach availability.

YPC is the perfect place to build your foundational theatre skills through voice, movement, character development, storytelling, self-confidence, and more! Young actors learn how to use their actor’s toolbox—body, voice, mind, and imagination—to bring characters and scenes to life. Students learn the importance of collaboration, risk-taking, and using their imagination.
