Young actors learn how to use their actor’s tools (body, voice, mind, and imagination) to bring characters to life. Basic acting concepts, creative games, and imaginative challenges encourage students to make bold and consistent performance choices. Applying skills to short scenes, students learn the importance of collaboration, risk-taking, and using your imagination.

In this brand new class, students will become both game designers and actors, creating their very own video game—but with a twist! Instead of playing on a screen, they’ll bring their game to life on stage. It’s an interactive, hands-on adventure where storytelling, acting, and creativity collide to create a one-of-a-kind real-life video game experience!

We are bringing the histo-remix to YPC this summer with this empowerment-centered hit Broadway-musical. Help Henry VIII’s famous ex-wives tell their stories through pop-rock style song and dance. Don’t lose your head over this fun class!
